martLipo MPX™ is the newest generation of laser assisted liposculpture. It is FDA- approved, and uses a dual-wavelength laser system that both liquefies fat and tightens skin using a technique called collagen remodeling for beautiful, natural results.

How Smart Lipo MPX Works

SmartLipo uses two lasers of different wavelengths, one faster than the other. They complement each other in what they can do. One applies even gradual, even heating to enhance blood coagulation, which reduces bleeding. The other is more highly focused and easily absorbed by water in the targeted tissue, which ruptures the fat cells. They can be used separately or together.

During the procedure, you are under local anesthesia and remain awake and comfortable. It is usually done in just one session. Most patients can return to normal activities within two to three days. Compression garments are generally worn for two weeks, compared with the six-week requirement for traditional liposuction.
